Germany is leading the way

When it comes to renewables, Germany means business. The German cabinet approved massive expansion of offshore windfarms. A new plan involves 2500 turbines, they would produce 12GW which is the equivalent of 12 medium-sized power plants.

To my knowledge this is the most ambitious wind energy plan in the world.

Since Germany is also leading the most ambitious solar energy project in the world it is fair to say it has the lead in renewable energy in Europe.

Skeptics say this is an unrealistic dream.

I say this is exactly the kind of bold visionary projects the world needs right now.
