This article contains the gist of Delves Broughton’s book. In his book he recounts his experience in the Harvard MBA. It’s cynical but it does point to parts of the US mentality and business vision I don’t subscribe to. First, the sanctification of the pursuit of unlimited personal wealth at any cost to our society. Second —and much harder to tolerate— the phony, hypocritical, self-development and integrity mumbo-jumbo that the latter is coated with.
